Thank you very much for your interest in participating in our Soup Bowl Challenge. The event will take place on Saturday, February 6 from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Miller Keystone Blood Center, located at 400 Route 315, Pittston Township.
Miller Keystone Blood Center is the exclusive provider of blood products to 28 hospitals in Eastern PA and Western NJ, including Geisinger, St. Luke’s and Lehigh Valley. While there is no monetary admission fee, to enter the competition you will need to recruit two blood donors to donate blood the day of the event. They will need to schedule and keep their appointment and make note that they are representing you or your restaurant. Each chef or restaurant will be also be required to share the event on their business and/or personal social media.
All restaurants will provide small samples of their soup for customers to vote on as the Soup Bowl Champion. The first-place winner will receive a customized Soup Bowl Champion trophy. Second and third place will also be recognized.
Each restaurant will also need to bring 15 pints and 10 quarts of soup to sell. Pints will sell for $5.00 and quarts for $10.00 Keystone Mission will receive $1.00 for every pint and $2.00 for every quart sold.
All chefs will be given a 10×10 spot for set up and will need to bring a table. To reserve your spot in the competition, please complete the attached forms and return them to email@example.com by Saturday, January 23. Space will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. In keeping with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, everyone entering the Soup Bowl Challenge room will be COVID-19 screened and will require a mask.
