Keystone Mission is a 501 (c)(3) faith-based, non-profit, dedicated to making a positive impact in the Northeast PA community. The Mission strive to assist those in need of basic necessities and spiritual guidance.

The Mission operate off a small staff and a large network of donors, businesses, churches, and volunteers. The Mission is continually growing and looking for more ways to collaborate with the community. Are you interested in getting involved? We would love to hear from you.

1995

A group of Individuals from the Nanticoke area had a desire to start a rescue mission and the Wyoming Valley Rescue Mission was established as a non-profit.

2005

The Scranton Rescue Mission buildings at 8 and 12 West Olive St. in Scranton were purchased. Feeding the homeless officially started in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area.

2008

Special funds were given to purchase the Wilkes-Barre location to help those affected by addiction, which began the Life Change Program. It was known as the Wyoming Valley Rescue Mission.

2016

Our primary goal is to be a catalyst for the community to provide help and hope to the homeless, hungry, and hurting people in Northeast PA.
